He  belongs to the Senior Corps of Clerks of the Social Security Administration and has been Head of the Legal Services of the National Institute for Social Security and Treasury Counsel in Granada from 1989 until 2005. He has served in the Provincial  General Treasury of the Social Security in Madrid, and last held the position of chief counsel INSS and Social Security Fund in Cordoba.

By Order of December 6, 2010, the Ministry of Justice awarded the Gold Medal of Merit at Justice of the Order of San Raimundo de Peñafort,  awarded and recognized for his long career in the legal field and in particular in the disciplines of Labor, Administrative and Civil Law.
